Preserving the Sentiments of Peace
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Luke 6:35-36

2 - Reflect
We all know someone whom others call "toxic people", people who possess a great deal of negative energy, people who generally tend to see the empty half of the glass and who hold a pessimistic outlook on life.
I personally believe that these people have not witnessed the power of Christ's love in the first place, and as is my habit, I doubt a negative nature and attribute it to circumstantial issues, i.e. no one is born negative, the environment and the lack of God in their lives make them that way. But what I am trying to say today has to do with how these people affect our lives and how they can also throw away everything that we have worked so hard to build.
It is true that the path of the Lord is never flat or boring and that constant obstacles attempt against our well-being, but it is also true that we are constantly trying to build a peace in which we can enjoy His blessings, that is why it is important to defend our peace from "toxic" people and maybe it is a good time to talk about God to them; about how He changed our life and can change theirs, opening the doors of a different world, where depression and negativity have no place.
