1 - READ THE WORD
Standing up
“Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:22-24

2 - Reflect
No matter how low we feel or how disappointed we are, we should always get back on our feet. In those moments we may resort to staying alone to contemplate what happened, to be able to process or put that pain in words. Finding consolation in our brothers will have a healing power, but reaching out to God will be what really saves us. Because only Our Heavenly Father will give us His advice, since it will also strengthen us and comfort us during bad times.
When we try again we must have the certainty that God will accompany our new path and we will see victory in Our Lord. He will give us His hand and His favor in exchange for nothing, because it is the commitment He has assumed with us as our Father. Perhaps today we find ourselves in a place where we think there is no way out, that nothing can free us from this discomfort, or that nobody will be able to mend our spirit. We can think that all the effort we have put into making this happen was pointless, or that we were foolish to trust someone who has since hurt us. We must hold fast to the word of God in those situations, because our Father will take care of us and guide us to happiness again.
