Sometimes we overload ourselves with issues that are not only ours. We can have on responsibilities that perhaps correspond to other life stages. For example, being young with sick parents, throws us into a situation in which we must mature quickly in the face of our family's needs. We change from children to adults from one moment to the next, and this can engender certain frustrations when we become older. We may have missed time with our friends or missed events that in adolescence are often perceived as monumental.
There will only be one witness of all our effort and of the love we have for our family in those difficult times, and that will be our Heavenly Father. The one with whom we share our fears, our pain, and sorrows and who will also be responsible for accompanying us in our growth. The important thing about being connected to God is that He will give us the encouragement we need to traverse these challenging situations and we will have new tools to conduct ourselves correctly in the future. It is important that we do not carry burdens that are harmful and that we make good on all that we learn. Continuing to be tied to concerns, without meditating on what happened is a mistake, but speaking with Our Father daily will bring us closer to clarity.
