God is our shepherd
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

2 - Reflect
We cannot traverse on these paths without the guidance of our shepherd who is the Lord. And a flock characterizes itself for being kind, docile, innocent inoffensive and full of trust in the sensitivity of the shepherd, that will do anything to guide them through the pastures that will be their sustenance.
Also in those shadowy valleys, that denote moments of affliction or of darkness, the people of the Lord are under His mercy, and can traverse them with no fear because they are always in God's presence and the eternity of His love. The psalm continues by saying that God's goodness will accompany us for all days, and we will inhabit the house of the Lord and His love which is cause for so much celebration.
