Searching for Eternal Joy and Love
Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.

2 - Reflect
This morning, like every morning, I started my day with a hearty breakfast while reading the news in the newspaper. To tell you the truth, I am still surprised that breakfast still goes down well in my stomach with the tenor of the news I read on a daily basis.
It is so easy to get depressed with so many reports of natural disasters, economic debacles, new terminal illnesses, ongoing wars and murders around the world. Many people close to me tell me that they envy my faith and the solidity of my prayers, thinking that this is the real reason why the news and problems do not seem to affect me. But on the contrary, and although Faith and prayer are sacred concepts that must be taken very seriously, I personally believe that it is all about the way you look at it.
Of course, a news item about an earthquake or a murder does not have many optics to be seen: there is only one because they are facts, and facts are truth. As someone said: the truth is not bad, what it has no remedy.
I think what I mean is that we must try to find joy, and believe me, there is no lack of reasons. We only have to look to God to realize how much we have because of Him and how fortunate we are to have Christ in our lives.
