1 - READ THE WORD
Good is pleased with us if we trust in Him
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6

2 - Reflect
What things should we believe as necessary in order to please God?
1) We must believe that He is real
a) Genesis 1: 1 Believing that God is the creator of the universe is more than just believing in Him, it is believing Him, it is taking for granted that His power is without limits.
b) It is by faith in His sovereign power that we reject all human or diabolical reasoning that what exists has another explanation. We honor God by believing His truth and not deceit.
2) It is by faith that we can approach Him.
a) Sin separated us from God: (Romans 3:23) It is not the problem of some people, it is a universal truth.
b) Together with Adam we are all separated from God by our nature(Romans 5:12)
c) God planned a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Temporal and earthly or Celestial and eternal.
d) Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift that God gives is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
3) It is by faith that we can walk with God without seeing Him.
Enoch without seeing God walked with Him by faith. His faith pleased God so much that He took Enoch away, without having to go through death.
a) It is an anticipation of those who believe in the rapture without dying.
b) It is an indication that God is pleased with those who, by faith, walk in obedience beside Him, something that God takes very much into account.
c) God wants to be our paraclete, that is (to be one who goes together with us and walks with us).
