The challenge to leave the worldly

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9

From birth we inhabit a context traversed by situations that are mundane, tangible, and earthly. We are surrounded by material objects, the activities we do, our conversations and worries. "What will happen tomorrow, how will we deal with this problem?", are the thoughts that generally abound in our minds.

However, we are also traversed by the challenge to abandon the mundane searches and participate in the spiritual. We are invited to search for God, and traveling that glorious path is where we will get our reward, which is living in the Revelation of God the Father. His thoughts are superior because He always wishes good on the world and His teachings are above any mundane thought. That is why our task of searching, with faith and from our hearts, is so important to be able to get closer to that love and spiritual elevation.
