2 - Reflect
Many claim they do not have time to connect with our Father when in reality it is a lack of commitment, or rather, over-commitment to others and not to oneself. We tend to confuse the "can do" with the "must do", so we carry on our shoulders daily tasks that perhaps, could be better distributed or delegated to the right people. The false belief in our society in which we have to be able to do everything that they need us to do, many times takes us away from our base objectives.
Our own time of rest is vital to understanding and reflecting on our daily lessons. Otherwise, if we fail to establish a balance between our social life or the demands our brothers have for us and the moments in which we need to be in solitude, it will become a problem. Especially because we can not think about what happens to us, about what we want for our lives, and consequently, to ask our Heavenly Father in prayer. If we are at the disposal of what others dictate all the time, of the things we must accomplish in our work, or of the demands of our loved ones, we will never have the space needed for our growth to be sustained and accompanied by the Word of God the Father.
