Accepting Forgiveness and Love
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

2 - Reflect
Today I was meditating on the importance of communication, and I am not referring to technological advances in cellular telephony or internet, but on a purely human level. In the same way things work with God: listening is key to walk with the Lord on a daily basis.
If we cannot listen to him, it will be impossible for us to know how to obey him, how to receive his grace, how to be the object of his mercy and peace. The first step is to sharpen our perception of what surrounds us and to be attentive to the marvelous way in which God expresses his perfect creativity. Let us remember today the importance of listening to the voice of the Lord, for he is surely speaking to us at this very moment through a prayer or a song, a word or through other people, and most importantly, through a teaching of his word that comes to us at the very moment we need it.
Therefore, it is important that we look within ourselves and connect with our hearts to listen to the Lord. He wants to call our attention and speak to us about what we really need at this moment we are going through.
Let us be willing to listen to his voice every day, because those who are willing to listen to him will never leave his presence and will be continually strengthened in their faith.
