He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.

2 - Reflect
Today I woke up somewhat distressed, with a deep bitter feeling as a result of a strange dream I had the night before. In my dream I was in a desperate situation - I don't remember exactly what it was - over which I had no control. The feeling of bitterness lasted for some time after I woke up.
Just as in my dream I had no control over what might happen, we may feel at some point that we have no control over events that occur or will occur in our lives, and therein lies the importance of cultivating a strong faith in Christ.
Faith is just that: every day God is present in our lives, molding us, changing us, without us knowing at what moment He does it or how He does it: that is to say, having very little control over the process. The great thing about strengthening our faith in the Lord is to understand the great interest He has for us, the vocation with which He dedicates and has dedicated His entire life to our care and how He constantly strives to nurture us as fully developed disciples.
