Taking responsibility
"For just as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous."

2 - Reflect
Taking on more responsibilities than we should is a known disadvantage these days. It is required many times by our jobs or by the demands of family and friends, and we end up saying yes many times when we choose to say no. That will not make us less loving, or careless, but quite the opposite. Learning to choose our activities will give us greater awareness of those that are truly important to us and what we have to do to have more peace of mind.
Saying "No" when we are asked to do activities that are not part of our real path for learning or reflection will not turn us into selfish people. But we will be anticipating the possibility of disappointing others if we fail, and also, we will care for our valuable time of prayer and introspection. To take time away from God, from studying His word, from resting in order to be able pray and interpret His word, we will find ourselves embarking down the wrong path. We simply have to learn to prioritize the different moments of our daily responsibilities, and to understand that often the duties that others want us involved in are not necessarily part of our path. For that reason, refusing to do something we do not feel in our hearts is something we must to do will keep us conscious and also make our brothers organize their priorities better.
