2 - Reflect
There is a belief that the night often brings dark thoughts to our minds. Darkness and loneliness can be a successful combination in altering our thoughts. When we are children, these feelings of fear for the unknown and the unreal can be stronger, but even as adults we can experience certain irrational fears when it is nighttime. Strong noises or shouts, shadows on the walls, torrential rains, or power outages can be triggers for our imagination to soar and we begin to be more nervous or irritable.
If we stay on God the Father's path, we will be removed from all evil. Maintaining the habit of prayer and talking to our Heavenly Father will dissolve any fears we may have. We can all think of fantastic and unreal situations when something scared us, but we must remember that if we are in God's company nothing bad can happen to us. These are simple tricks that our mind plays on us, and there can be no evil if we entrust ourselves to God. Our Father will make us strong and courageous when we need Him, when we have doubts, or need His company it will only be a matter of believing and obeying His word.
