2 - Reflect
Many of us have an identical discourse when we talk about the plans that God has for each one of us; about how we cultivate our Faith to be able to follow to the letter what Christ asks of us; about how we follow the Most Holy One until the end of time, without questioning His decisions, having full confidence in Him and in the plans that He has in mind for us, but are we really up to the task that God may entrust to us?
Let us think for a moment, and saving the distances, if God were to commission us to build an ark like Noah's, would we be able to achieve it? And I am not referring to whether we could physically do it, but whether we would be willing to face all that such an undertaking entails: family tensions; the chatter; the setbacks that seem to want us not to succeed in what we set out to do. I think the starting point of all this is in trust.
The trust, on the one hand, that God has in us by entrusting us with the task, as if to say "I know you can do it"; and the trust that we must have in Him: full and blind; surrendering ourselves to His will, knowing that it will be the best for us and that God will never abandon us.
Let us remember then that if we have a strong trust in the Lord, no task will seem impossible to us; no assignment will generate doubts, and we will even enjoy the process with the joy of having God with us.
