2 - Reflect
When we are lost or we doubt our own decisions we usually enter a place of great darkness.
We think and review over and over again the steps we followed, we punish ourselves with what does not work or we are just so scared by the consequences that we do not even try. We can easily lose our way and move away from our brothers, because we mistakenly believe that none of them will be able to help us along that road or give us sage advice. The truth is that in those cases we are only being foolish and arrogant, by locking ourselves in our thoughts.
Our Father will be the one who provides the encouragement needed when we find ourselves in that darkness, but it will require the grandiosity of our heart to let Him in and receive His advice. To have a deep conversation with God the Father will often become our only way of crossing through that moment of confusion. Surrounding ourselves with the goodwill of our brothers will also help us in a moment of desolation, since they with their love and fraternity they can help us to recover our strength. To remain in solitude or to be very strict with ourselves will not guide us towards learning but on the contrary, it will plunge us into sadness and keep us away from happiness.
