Embracing Christ
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

2 - Reflect
In my weekly talks, I have been asked several times by my students about how people who do not yet know Christ live their lives.
This is a concept that is very interesting to me because, avoiding falling into the armed phrase of “living in ignorance” we can see, instead, how those people who do not have God in their ways, focus their attention or desire on other things such as the material, as a kind of “worship” to false idols.
Those who, for one reason or another, do not count on the presence of Christ in their lives or deny His existence outright, by default are lost on the way, worship the pleasures of the world and, consequently, disbelieve in salvation.
On the other hand, there are also those who believe “half-heartedly” and recognize Christ but do not make Him part of their lives, believing that their case has no salvation because they have sinned so much and there is “no turning back”.
In both cases the result is the same, people who for one reason or another are lost and without any direction, but just as in these cases there is a problem, there is also a solution: To recognize God as Lord and sovereign of our life, to recognize His will as the only way to salvation. That is why it is important to make the effort to begin to see results in our path immediately.
