Closer to Absolute Happiness
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

2 - Reflect
Just a few days ago I read an article about the ranking of the happiest countries in the world. Beyond which country occupied which position, I was very curious to know what they based their ranking on.
Personally, I believe that modern society as we know it is nothing more than a snowball caused primarily by excessive consumption, very different from conscious consumption that includes what is essential to live with dignity.
On the contrary, excessive consumption often leads us to enter the vicious circle of competition, seeing that my neighbor has more things than me, or the latest model car or the most expensive watch. At the same time, all this causes us to lose our way and to stray from the path that leads us to Christ, causing us to lose sight of what it is that we truly need to live.
Let us just remember how in the Holy Bible we are invited only to cover the basic needs of food and clothing, while the thirst and hunger of our spirit will be covered by God our Lord.
