1 - READ THE WORD
Let Silence No Longer Occupy Space
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

2 - Reflect
This morning I was thinking about the importance of knowing how to listen: knowing how to listen to others in order to advise them, knowing how to listen to others in order to understand them, knowing how to listen to our heart in order to communicate with the Lord and, above all, knowing how to listen to God when He speaks to us.
Many times we feel disappointed when we do not achieve what we set out to do or, in other cases, because of obstacles that arise in our lives, and it is in those moments when we should stop and remain silent, just listening.
Let us remember that God always speaks to us, it is only up to us to want to listen to Him, but how can we obey Him, how can we receive His grace, how can we be the object of His mercy and peace if we cannot listen to Him first?
The first step is to sharpen our perception of what surrounds us and to be attentive to the marvelous way in which God expresses his perfect creativity.
He wants to call our attention and speak to us, not about what we might desire, not about what we long for according to our concepts, but about what we really need at the moment we are going through.
