The Refuge for Critical Moments
You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall.

2 - Reflect
I have always considered myself a problem solver when faced with conflicts and, although I still do not know to what extent I have acted well, I do recognize that I have been able to successfully overcome the obstacles that I have encountered along the way.
But it is clear that I have not always dealt with those problems with the serenity that characterizes me at this time: on the contrary, many times I found myself desperate and with the need to find that place, that moment in which I feel contained and sheltered, in search of that refuge in the storm. And the fact is that some days we need shelter; we need a light to guide us to a safe harbor, to a better place where we can once again regain our energy and have the necessary strength to continue.
We should not look too far because one of the wonderful things about God is that, in our Faith, he takes care of us by vocation and not by obligation. He is a merciful and unconditional father who is there for us when we may have forgotten to be there for him. So let us remember to pray too, because when we ask Him for refuge, when we ask Him to lift us up with His hand, He will answer that call, because if there is anyone who keeps His promise not to leave us and to give us His love and peace when we need it, it is God.
