The revelation
“O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.”

As Christians we sometimes place all our expectations on God, we believe that He must show all of us His will at a whim and when that does not happen, we are confused. We expect great revelations when we feel lost or have some uncertainty about something that is going to happen. We seek divine answers but we do not have true communication with our Father. With that attitude we are only showing our selfishness, the belief that God owes us a "great revelation" or a moment of absolute truth. It is a mistake to remain inactive while waiting for it to happen.
God directs our path on a daily basis, from the simplest to the most complex, and this leaves us with a valuable lesson. We must make ourselves willing to accept His grace, let Him direct us in the most important matters as well as irrelevant or everyday issues. He will show us what we have to do to achieve what we want or give us the tools to solve our problems. By hearing His voice, following His advice we will always reach a better place and easily find peace. God will transform our reality and make it more enjoyable it seems difficult to us but we must trust that He will be there accompanying us at every step and we must not expect magical solutions from Him.
