2 - Reflect
Going to meet with our Father requires a commitment and devotion that not many are willing to give. Obeying in small things and respecting the divine mandates will be our first steps to approaching our Lord. We must be compassionate and remain in solidarity with our brothers, extending our hand when they need us most, and know how to be a guide when others are lost and confused about their choices.
Listen, study and preach His word, so we may be alert to temptations or deviations. We must keep our hearts open to receive His grace and be willing to be rebuked when we do wrong on purpose or with malice. We will be rewarded for our kindness, for the time we spend to be better Christians and to proclaim faith and hope to those around us. We will receive the grace of God when we give love without asking for anything in return and when we offer our companionship to those who need it most. Being in contact with God the Father and with whoever He has designated for each one of us in His plans will not be an easy task until we accept that this is the only possible way to find peace and joy. Only in the Almighty Lord and in His will can we be worthy to receive His goodness.
