Pressing Forward Despite Problems
That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.

Many times we have to go through difficult moments in our lives, which we manage to overcome supported by the Faith of Christ, but the scenario becomes complicated when we do not finish overcoming a problem, when we see another one coming inevitably and overwhelmingly.
Then, it is very easy to want to throw it all away if we do not have a very strong Faith. At such moments, it is inevitable that questions start to arise, highlighting all those areas we have not been working on lately, or simply those with which we have a particular conflict. Questions such as What am I supposed to do now? Why is this happening to me? Why necessarily at this time?
First of all, we must understand that there is never a propitious moment to receive a “blow” from those that life gives us; next, it is imperative to know that the “blow” is not to us in particular, but that it is to one side of us that we need to work better, in order to be completely ready for the mission that Christ has in mind for us.
Let us remember then to think of ourselves as God's soldiers, who must be prepared to the utmost to face any obstacle that presents itself in the battle so that our Holy Father's message of love may finally reign over the face of the earth.
